Dr. Tselane Gardner

Dr. Tselane Gardner is an experienced Community Mental Health Professional, Trauma-Informed Care Practitioner, and holistic wellness leader who has dedicated over two decades to serving individuals, families, organizations, and communities through compassionate, culturally responsive care. Her clinical background includes extensive work within public mental health systems, specializing in severe mental illness, African American Psychology, Hoarding Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, older adults, and trauma-informed support services.

Her professional training includes evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling, and community-based mental health education. Dr. Gardner is also recognized for supporting Crime Survivors, Service Providers, and underserved communities through restorative wellness experiences, mental health education, and trauma-informed care.

After years of serving in public mental health, Dr. Gardner founded Clinical Counseling with Tselane, where she blends clinical expertise with holistic wellness experiences. Her work includes Healing Hearts Sound Bath Therapy offered in both Christian-based and non-religious formats, Trauma-Informed Care, Service Provider Wellness Programs, Mental Health Education, Professional Speaking, Conference Presentations, and Wellness-Based Training Programs designed to reduce Occupational Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and Vicarious Trauma while promoting Nervous System Regulation.

Grounded in both science and faith, Dr. Gardner's Healing Hearts Christian Sound Bath Therapy integrates therapeutic sound with Scripture, prayer, and reflection to create a spiritually enriching environment for healing. Her non-religious Healing Hearts Sound Bath Therapy experiences provide inclusive wellness sessions focused on relaxation, mindfulness, stress reduction, emotional well-being, and restoration.

Grounded in the Scripture 1 Samuel 16:23, “Whenever the evil spirit from God bothered Saul, David would play his harp. Saul would relax and feel better, and the evil spirit would go away,” her Healing Hearts Christian Sound Bath Therapy creates a spiritually enriched, restorative environment that promotes peace, reflection, and healing.

Dr. Gardner is also a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher and Registered Christian Yoga Association Trainer (R-CYAT), further expanding her ability to integrate movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and sound into holistic wellness experiences that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

Through her unique combination of clinical expertise, trauma-informed care, mental health education, professional speaking, and holistic wellness leadership, Dr. Gardner empowers individuals, Service Providers, Crime Survivors, organizations, and communities to cultivate resilience, restoration, healing, and lasting well-being.
